Happy Birthday Amari!

Our very close friend and Cooper's "Uncle Kenny", held a birthday party for his daughter, Amari, at Chuck E Cheese's...Cooper's first party!  Cooper and his daddy were mesmerized by the puppet show and all the games!  Amari, was adorable as usual!  

Cooper got to wear his first pair of Nike's, (thank you Grandma Donna!).

I finally got Cooper ready to take Bando for a walk, and then it started raining!  Bando was pretty upset, but as you can see, Cooper was having a blast in his warm and fuzzy outfit!

Baby Blue Eyes...

Cooper is now a little over 2 months old and gets cuter every day!  He is talking (in baby language) all the time and smiling and laughing.  It's amazing to watch him grow and become more aware of his surroundings.  He completely recognizes mommy and daddy and lights up anytime that daddy makes funny faces at him!  He is sleeping through the night (praise the lord!),  and officially has me wrapped around his little fingers.  :)

Haradon Family Update....

As I'm sure most people know, life with a newborn can be a little crazy, so please excuse the delay in updating the blog.  Anyhow, life for J, Coop, Bando and myself has been great!  

Cooper's First Bath....

Cooper, clearly, does not enjoy the water or being naked!  He has done much better in his more recent baths since these first bath photos were taken, but still whines and knows how to make me feel awful for having to bathe him!

Christmas with the Family....

 We had a beautiful Christmas and got to spend some time with our San Diego family that we don't see nearly as often as I'd like.  I hope all of our friends and family that we didn't get to see had a great holiday and are preparing for an even better 2009!  

BEING A MOMMY......

Being a mommy is everything I ever thought it would be.  Wonderful, beautiful, tiring, and so much more.  Cooper is doing great and getting bigger and more beautiful every day!  He had his first checkup yesterday and passed with flying colors.  Bando and Cooper are getting along just like brothers!  Bando is super protective of Coop and runs to him any time he makes a noise.  

As for J and I, we are finally adjusting to our new roles and lives.  Luckily, Coop is sleeping about 6-7 hours a night (about 3-4 hours at a time), so we haven't been too sleep deprived.  I miss the little things, like going to the grocery store or Target!  I am so lucky I have J...I send him to do everything and he never complains!  

Thank goodness for wonderful husbands, coffee, and dulce de leche ice cream!

INTRODUCING COOPER JOHN HARADON...

We'd like to introduce our son, Cooper John Haradon.  Born on November 28, 2008 at 10:39 pm.  Weighing in at 8 lbs. 14oz. and 21 in. long...he put me through an exhausting 13 hours of labor and 3 epidurals! 

J was absolutely amazing and held my hand the whole way.  I now understand what makes mothers so amazing, they have to go through so much to become one!  

Cooper is wonderful and exhausting!  He is incredibly alert and is big, steel blue eyes are always searching for something new.  He and Bando are getting along great, thank goodness.
